Vision Boards for young people
This Workshop for YOUNG PEOPLE will take place in Cheltenham. (Pre-Teens and Teens aged 8-15) (16+ can attend the adult workshop)
WHAT IS A VISION BOARD?
A colourful board your teenagers create using individual photos, images and quotes that they choose (eg… like a family photo, image of personal achievements they want to get in school or a family holiday booked) Along side their Vision Board creation (which also includes ribbons and embellishments to make it personal and fun) I teach the teenagers how to have a positive mindset so that they can achieve personal goals on their vision board. Like grades at school for example.
WHY CREATE A VISION BOARD?
A Vision Board helps your teenager to focus on only the positive and good things going on around them. A vision board helps them to feel more grateful for the things and people in their life too. This then encourages happiness and positivity.
It is not religious or spiritual in any way, unless they choose to make it.
HOW DOES A VISION BOARD HELP POSITIVE THINKING?
Positive thinking is a mental and emotional attitude that focuses on the bright side of life and expects positive results. A positive person anticipates happiness, health and success, and believes he or she can overcome any obstacle and difficulty.
This workshop teaches techniques to your teenagers on how to turn a negative thought into a positive thought and how to be more mindful with their thought process. With you teenager having on average around 60,000 thoughts a day. That’s around 40 thoughts per minute!! No wonder they are exhausted by the end of the day. But did you know that the untrained mind has 80% negative thoughts a day. And lastly 90% of problems are caused by thoughts.
So by creating a positive Vision Board for your teenagers to look at daily to be inspired by and by following my techniques you will have a happier, more contented and enthusiastic teenager. Win Win for them and for you 😍
