What is hypnotherapy?
The term “hypnosis” comes from the greek word “hynos” meaning “sleep”
Hypnotherapy is a form of therapy that taps into the unconscious mind and uses the power of positive suggestion to bring about subconscious change to our thoughts, feelings and behaviour.

All you need to do is focus and listen to what I will be saying and you follow my instructions as I say it.
How does hypnotherapy work?
You’re probably wondering how it works. It’s practically voodoo, right?
…Wrong. Hypnotherapy helps you to relax and directly access your subconscious. This is the part of the brain responsible for memory, bodily functions, creativity, and pretty much everything else. Normally you can’t access it, but with hypnotherapy you open a door into your subconscious. This allows you to feed commands to it, for example to stop smoking, and your subconscious will get to work.
And for those who want a more technical answer:
It is suggested it works by altering our state of consciousnesses in such a way that the analytical left-hand side of the brain is turned off, while the non-analytical right-hand side of the brain is made more alert.
What can hypnotherapy do for me
Literally anything and all you have to do is be 100% sure you want to make that change. Hypnotherapy can be used for anything you put your mind to, simply because you put your mind to it. It sounds simple… It is.

Had hypnotherapy by Naomi 7 months ago. Was struggling with low self-esteem and high levels of anxiety. Since one treatment I haven’t needed my anxiety medication, and have returned to a career I wanted after not being able to work since 2009.
Results have been wonderful!
The biggest change hasn’t been reaching my ideal my weight overnight – it is so much better! Naomi has released me from the anxieties I felt with food, with the “good day / bad day” mentality and the joy of not having a constant niggle that “I want to eat” and the joy now in eating what I enjoy, to support my body and not feed my emotions
On our 1st session, Naomi was professional, yet warm, welcoming and instantly made me feel relaxed & eager to start a new journey. During the past 2 weeks, Naomi has been a wonderful source of encouragement, advice and a smile, on the phone, email or messages, Naomi has offered me as much or as little support as I choose, which has been great.

The pounds are coming off!
I had a reading done on Thursday I must say it was a bit emotional. It was great to have positive thoughts coming through which is helping me stay positive with my weight loss. Naomi also took some photos of me to see the difference after only two months…..All I can say is wow I myself couldn’t see where I was losing it from but you can now. My last session with Naomi
There is so much I want to learn but for some reason, I just wasn’t doing it! This is alien to me as I’m usually super organised and a prolific list maker! I work online so have NO deadlines to meet – except self-imposed ones – and nobody to report to, so motivating myself is crucial. Anyway, I had my session last week and have to report a marked shift in my mindset! I’m just getting on and doing stuff, making plans, organising me learning along with my workload and still have loads of time to pursue everything else. I feel so much happier in myself. This combined with still losing weight is making such a difference and I feel like I’m finally achieving everything I want to. Thanks, Naomi!
I just have to share
But even more importantly I feel great, I have more energy, I am happier in myself and confident I can keep going. I love that it is so easy! Usually, I struggle in my head about what foods I should or shouldn’t have but this time I’m just not interested in the foods I know my body doesn’t like.
